The Camarilla – An old international organization dedicated to enforcing the Masquerade, along with the other five Traditions, the Camarilla is a financial powerhouse in Seattle and they have a great deal of influence in the city’s corporate world.The Pioneers – Comprised of the “original” vampires who were there when Seattle was founded, the Pioneers have since fallen from power, presumably because they were unable to keep up with the times and preferred to stick with the old ways and cling to old glory.Rather than the usual Camarilla-Sabbat-Anarch trio, Bloodlines 2 will feature the following five factions: On top of that, they will also be able to align with one of the city’s five major factions. The player will start out with three new thin-blood Disciplines (“Disciplines” being a term used to refer to different “sets” of supernatural vampiric powers), but they will have the opportunity to join one of the clans later on and gain access to two additional Disciplines. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Storyīloodlines 2 will take place in an alternate World of Darkness version of modern-day Seattle, putting the player in the shoes of a fledgling thin-blood vampire created during a Mass Embrace, a tactic used by certain groups of vampires to create chaos and violate the titular Masquerade in order to make unlife more difficult for their enemies.
The game will be released for the PC, as well as the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. After that, the game was delayed yet again, this time to 2021, with no specific release date.įollowing the significant restructuring and Hardsuit Labs being replaced by another still unnamed studio, the game is expected to launch in 2022 at the earliest, though even that might be optimistic, depending on the extent of the changes that are being made to the game this late into its development cycle.
